Alex Basara and Ally Keller, from Chester County, attended the game at Lincoln Financial Field and found themselves targeted by a foul-mouthed Eagles fan.
The couple initially engaged in playful banter with Eagles fans but things took a nasty turn when a fan sitting behind them began making disrespectful comments. The situation escalated as the Eagles took the lead over the Packers, with the fan becoming more condescending towards Basara and Keller.
Despite the harassment, Basara captured the fan's behavior on video, which led to the Eagles announcing that the fan has been banned from future events at Lincoln Financial Field. The couple also spoke to the Eagles about the incident and received an apology from the team, though they have not yet received the promised free Packers gear.
Following the ordeal, Basara and Keller have decided that they will only attend Eagles games in Green Bay in the future, avoiding Philadelphia due to their negative experience. The Eagles fan in the video was subsequently fired by BCT Partners in New Jersey, with the company condemning his actions and emphasizing their commitment to respect and inclusion.
